MERIDIAN-X is HydroTech Survey's purpose-built rig move control and navigation system — designed to give offshore rig move teams a single, real-time operational picture throughout the most hazardous phase of any offshore drilling campaign. Engineered and assembled in-house, MERIDIAN-X integrates navigation, positioning, communications, and data logging into one compact, portable rack unit that deploys rapidly to any vessel or rig involved in a move.

High-accuracy satellite positioning for real-time rig and vessel position tracking.
Routes data from multiple serial navigation sensors to the Ethernet network.

Product Roadmap — What We Are Developing Next
We are researching the development of a purpose-built Inertial Navigation System (INS) for marine survey applications. This product is in an early research and partner evaluation phase. We are assessing licensing opportunities with established INS manufacturers to bring proven inertial sensor technology into local assembly and integration. An INS product launch is planned as the company's engineering capability and capital base grows.

MERIDIAN-X represents the first step in building a home-grown offshore technology capability within Nigeria. Our goal is to reduce operator dependence on imported survey systems by engineering and assembling alternatives locally.
Our Nigerian engineering team is trained across all MERIDIAN-X components, and a technology partnership programme with international sensor manufacturers is currently in progress — with the aim of bringing proven sensor technology into local integration.
Note: We do not currently claim specific NCDMB or NUPRC certification numbers. We are committed to pursuing this accreditation as the programme matures.
